Rive-de-Gier

Rive-de-Gier is a town and commune of France. It is located in the arrondissement of Saint-Étienne in the Loire département, in the Rhône-Alpes région. As of 1999, it had a population of around 15,000.

The town is located on both sides of a river named Gier.
