Rita Walter

Rita Walter (born March 8, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actress, best known for her role as Carol Demming on the popular soap opera As the World Turns. Originally credited by her maiden name, Rita McLaughlin, she appeared on the serial from May 1970 until her exit on Christmas Day 1981. Walter also appeared in the 1985 movie Cry From the Mountain.

Walter made her acting debut in the 1960s on The Patty Duke Show, in the uncredited role of Patty Duke's double.
