I think the licensing used on this image is incorrect; it was created by the U.S. government, therefore it should be public domain. Peyna 17:54, 27 September 2005 (UTC)

The data is from a NASA satellite TOPEX/Poseidon, however the data processing and analysis (including the plot) was done by researchers at the University of Colorado. This may or may not change the copyright status. -Loren 01:10, 28 September 2005 (UTC)
