Rio nell'Elba is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Livorno in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 130 km southwest of Florence and about 80 km south of Livorno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,114 and an area of 16.7 km².^[1]

Rio nell'Elba borders the following municipalities: Porto Azzurro, Portoferraio, Rio Marina.
