Rio Mesa High School

Rio Mesa High School is located in just north of Oxnard, California and is part of the Oxnard Union High School District. It serves the communities of El Rio, and Camarillo. It's name comes from the two original feeder middle schools, Rio De Valle and Mesa Union, though it now takes students from a number of different middle schools. Located in the middle of strawberry fields, it is known for both the beauty of the surrounding farmland, as well heavy flooding during serious rain storms.

It's school mascot is the Spartans and the school colors are red and black. The Spartans are contenders for League Championships in every sport.
