Ringstead, Northamptonshire

Ringstead is a small village situated in Northamptonshire, England and is located approximately 15 miles to north-east of Northampton in the Nene Valley. The River Nene runs directly past the village in a series of locks. During the 1980's major sand and gravel excavations took place all around Ringstead leaving many man-made lakes and islands.
