Rildo da Costa Menezes, also known as Rildo (born in Recife, January 23, 1942) was a former Brazilian footballer, one of the all-time best defender lateral for Santos F.C. with Dalmo and Geraldino.
One of the last players of Santos Golden Era, with Pelé, Pepe, Coutinho, Clodoaldo and many others, in career (1959–1977) played with Íbis, Sport Recife, Botafogo, and closed among with Pelé at New York Cosmos in US. Three time winner of Săo Paulo State Championship (1967, 1968, 1969) and two time winner Rio de Janeiro State Championship (1961, 1962), with Brazilian Team played 36 games from 1963 to 1969 scored one goal in 1966 FIFA World Cup in match with Portugal, losses 3–1.
