These days, my first and foremost interest is the Thai language. By now I'm fluent enough to speak, read, and write without too much difficulty. However, Thai is such an exceptionally wonderful and challenging language that I hate to overestimate my abilities, because I am constantly surprised at how much I still don't know.

I am working on building my personal library of books in and about Thailand and the Thai language.

I'm also interested in Thailand and her culture generally, along with other Southeast Asian languages and cultures.
