Rijs

Rijs (Frisian: Riis) is a small town within the municipality of Gaasterlân-Sleat.
Rijs is situated on the road between Oudemirdum and Hemelum. It has approximately 200 citizens. Rijs is most known for its 300 year old planted forest which known as: Rijsterbos.
