Rightmove plc trading as Rightmove.co.uk (LSE: RMV) is an online British property search company.

Rightmove.co.uk was created in 2000 as a joint venture between four of the UK's largest property agents: Halifax, Countrywide Assured, Royal & Sun Alliance, & Connells. However, in March 2006 the Company was listed on the London Stock Exchange (though the original founders maintained stakes). As of 2006, it has 78% of the property search market and is the 9th most visited UK website.

Rightmove.co.uk Limited was formed on the 11 August 2000, changing name to Rightmove PLC on the 14 February 2006.

Rightmove makes money from listing by individuals and estate agents on its website. Access is free for viewers, who are capable of both finding properties, as well as requesting further information and arranging viewings.

As of January, 2006 there were 1.9m registered users, over 720,000 properties listed, worth £136bn, and 29.9 million searches were made.
