I've been updating the article. The band members are referred to by last name throughout the article. Is this standard convention, or is using first names acceptable? --Slow Graffiti 05:50, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Virtually all articles that deal with people refer to them using their last name. Look at Tony Blair for example. For the article to be encyclopedic, last names should be used (with notable exceptions, eg Bono). When first names get used, it is no longer encyclopedic. --One Salient Oversight 11:48, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Actually, many I've seen on here use the first name - that's why I asked. Thanks for the clarification. I can now go back and change these to follow the guideline. Loz isn't nearly as famous as Bono, but nonetheless it's what everyone refers to him as. Would such a nickname (used almost exclusively, rather than real name) be suitable for use? --Slow Graffiti 09:03, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
