"Ride a White Horse" is an electronic–dance song written by British duo Goldfrapp and Nick Batt for their third album Supernature (2005). It was produced by Goldfrapp, and received a mixed reception from music critics. The song was released as the third single during the first quarter of 2006 (see 2006 in music) and reached number fifteen in the United Kingdom and number thirty-six in Ireland. The song was released as the third single in the United States on May 30th, 2006.
The song makes reference to T. Rex's "Ride a White Swan" (1970) and Bianca Jagger, who famously rode through Studio 54 on a white horse.
