"Richard Corey" is the psuedonym for a Washington, D.C., born hip-hop artist and poet.

Richard Corey has gained some Internet noteriety for his hip-hop styled poetry that he performs live in Washington, D.C. Currently, Richard Corey pieces are seen, discussed and enjoyed on many English-speaking and on several international Web sites.

Richard Corey is a published author and has been awarded the Morgan State University, "Creative Writing Award" for 2000.

He is currently an administrator for the hip-hop Web sites, b-boys.com and projectrhyme.com.
