Year of birth is wrongly given as 1841 by some sources. This is due to calculating the year of death minus age at death (1906-65) and the year of birth assumed on the 1881 Census: Census year minus age (1881-40). These estimates don't allow for a date of birth occuring later in the year and after the event.

Records show Josey was Christened on 04 OCT 1840 Saint Giles, Reading, Berkshire, England (Familysearch.org)

February 2006 marks the centenary of Josey's death. The Obituary dated 14th February 1906 states Josey "died last week...".
