Ricky Pierce

Ricky Charles Pierce (born August 19, 1959 in Dallas, Texas) is a former National Basketball Association player. He graduated from Garland High School. He graduated from Rice University. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 1st round (18th pick) of the 1982 NBA Draft. He won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award twice as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. His first was during the 1987-1988 season, and the second two years later, in 1989-1990. He set the then-record for consecutive free throws made with 75 in 1991 with the Seattle SuperSonics. He retired after the 1997-1998 season in his second stint with the Bucks. He also once had a stint in Greece with AEK Athens BC.
