Ricky Kasso

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ricky Kasso committed a satanic murder in Northport, New York in 1984. He was a follower of Anton LaVey. He was committed involuntarily to the South Oaks asylum in Amityville, New York.

Several movies were made about him such as Ricky 6, My Sweet Satan, and the Black Circle Boys. The "Knights of the Black Circle", as the group he was associated with was called, held demonic ceremonies around Long Island, mostly in Northport but also a significant one in Amityville at the famous house to celebrate Walpurgisnacht. The Band Wiseblood had written a song about Kasso and the Knights of the Black Circle, on their album Dirtdish entitled "0-0 (Where Evil Dwells)". Fear Factory covered this song on the digi-pak of Obsolete

Ricky Kasso said he killed because a black crow brought him a message from Satan telling him to do so. Two weeks after his arrest he committed suicide.

There is a rock group called Acid King, which is named for his nickname.
