Rickmansworth School

Rickmansworth School is a secondary school situated in Croxley Green (Hertfordshire) near the border with Rickmansworth. This naming of the school is thought to be due to the changing boundaries between towns in the government census of 1952.

There are currently about 1,200 pupils in attendence including a sixth form.
The school has previously had above average results for GCSE and A level and is the school of choice among many in the area.
The current headmaster is Dr. Stephen Burton.

The school was opened in 1953 by The Countess Mountbatten of Burma, and has recently celebrated its 50 years anniversary.
