[edit] Real Bout 2:The Newcomers

Rick is a member of a Native American tribe that lives in the outskirts of Southtown. Rick's people has seen the city of Southtown grow from afar, and has never meddled in the city's progress, as they knew that Southtown was filled with lots of criminals and evildoers. But this didn't hold back Rick, who far from ignoring the situation, decided to train himself to one day tackle the fighters in Southtown head on.... Rick lies his strength not only in his spiritual belief, but also in his fists, which he has trained and built enough to develop a crushing series of blows that would easily take out any opponent in a swift motion. Despite the warnings of his superiors, Rick was not ready to let go the chance of some day fighting the best in Southtown. Every now and then, Rick takes a trip into Southtown to challenge all those who are willing to face his crazy fists. Inspired by the sense of self-improvement, Rick has slowly earned a name for himself in Southtown. He hopes that someday the right opponent will stand against him and challenge his amazing skills in a true fight. Although rowdy and maybe not too proper, Rick has a heart of honor, and respects the code of the warrior. He gets excited when he faces a worthy opponent, and gets incredibly disappointed when his opponent is weak. Rick doesn't follow the strict code of his tribe to stay away from foreigners, which has allowed him to meet new and interesting people.

[edit] Fatal Fury:First Contact

This game is just a port of RB2:The Newcomers and he appears a selectable fighter at NGPC version!

[edit] Trivia

  • He is the first SNK-created boxer character that doesn't outright look like a boxer, such as Michael Max and Axel Hawk.
  • Rick is also one of the very few Native American characters not portrayed as overly stereotypical. (see Mortal Kombat's Nightwolf as exhibit A)
  • Another non-traditional boxer character is KOF's saucy Vanessa. Strangely enough, between KOF '01 and '02, she obtained two of Rick's moves with seemingly no explanation whatsoever. While the moves were given new names, that is the only new thing about them.
  • Rick is somewhat infamous for having an annoying infinite in Real Bout 2 where he infinitly jugles his opponents with his Hellion special move. This infinite only works at a certain distance at the corner of the screen.
