Rick Ravanello (born 24 October 1967 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia) is an Canadian actor who has appeared in several television series and movies.

Rick began his acting journey out of Calgary, Alberta where he met and married his wife, Michelle, in 1994. After one short year experimenting with the local scene, he set out for Vancouver, British Columbia where things started to truly shine. It was here where Rick started to earn many television and film roles which eventually lead to an audition that landed in the hands of Steven Spielberg of Dreamworks SKG. Mr. Spielberg quickly had Rick flown to Los Angeles where he sat with casting director Meg Liberman, Tom Hanks, and Tony To. They discussed an upcoming project titled Band of Brothers. Although Rick did not go on to film the mini-series, Mr. Spielberg offered Rick a deal to star in an upcoming Dreamworks television project. Since his arrival in L.A., Rick has since been very active. He recently filmed a role in Hart's War(2002), where he worked alongside Bruce Willis for 2 months in Prague, Czech Republic. Rick studied business while at university and also starred as a running back while playing football. He has three younger brothers, Chris, Lawrence and Michael (Michael [1] sustained a brain injury back in 1994 and passed away in 2004). His parents are Richard and Katherine Ravanello and his best friend is his dog, Barkley. He studies with Janet Alhanti of Los Angeles and he resides in Toluca Lake, California.
