Richmond Station is an at-grade Bay Area Rapid Transit and Amtrak station located in Richmond, California. Each system is served by an island platform. The Capitol Corridor stops here, providing connections to BART. The San Joaquins, another Amtrak route, also has a stop at this station. The station is currently being completely rebuilt. The Richmond Transit Village is adjacent; directly north of the station is a BART rail yard. Richmond serves as the northern terminus for the Richmond Line with the Richmond - Daly City Line which operates Monday-Saturday during the daytime and the Richmond - Fremont Line which operates at all times during regular BART service.

Service at this station began on January 29, 1973.[1]
