Richie Ramsay

Richie Ramsay (born 1982/3) is a Scottish amateur golfer, who represented Great Britain & Ireland in the 2005 Walker Cup. He is a student at Stirling University.
In 2006, Ramsay won the U.S. Amateur Championship by beating American John Kelly 4&2 over the final 36 holes. He was the first Briton to win the championship since 1911, and the first Scot since 1898. If he remains an amateur, he will automatically qualify for three of the four men's major golf championships in 2007: The Masters Tournament, The U.S. Open and The Open Championship.
