Richardson A. Scurry

Richardson A. Scurry (November 11, 1811, Gallatin, Tennessee–April 9, 1862, Hempstead, Texas) was a Texas politician and a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives. He was also a soldier in the war for Texas independence, fighting at the battle of San Jacinto, and later a lawyer, a judge and an Associate Justice of the Texas Supreme Court.
