Richard Sharp

Richard Sharp (born 9 September 1938) educated at Blundell's School and the University of Oxford. A former Wasps FC and England rugby union fly-half and captain. He also played for England while at Oxford and led England to Five Nations title and Triple Crown in 1963. (England did not win the Triple Triple Crown in 1963). Bernard Cornwell's fictional character Richard Sharpe is said to have been named after him.
