Richard J. McMullen (November 7, 1918 - July 26, 1978) served as bookkeeper and vice president of the Olean Lumber Company from 1947-1962. He then served as president and principal owner from 1962-1978. McMullen brought the Cash and Carry concept to the company during his tenure as president. He died from a stroke caused by arteriosclerosis.
