[edit] "No Place Like Home" UK tour
In September - December 2006 Richard toured the UK as the character of John Brotherston in the play "There's No Place Like A Home" - co-starring alongside 'Allo Allo' actor Gordon Kaye, Joan Savage, Ken Morley (Coronation Street), Tony Adams (Crossroads), Ray Allen, Peter Byrne, Brian Cant & Sue Hodge ('Allo 'Allo).
The play was about a bunch of elderly residents to a retirement home for performers, which unfortunately was due to close because of lack of funds. But the residents hatch a plan to kidnap Lord Jeffrey Archer and claim ransom money in order to keep the retirement home running.
