Richard Gosling

Richard Gosling (born 1974) is a part-time doorman, famous for being the winner of Britain's Strongest Man contest in 2003. He currently lives in Cannock, England.

While executing his role as a part-time doorman, Gosling was seriously injured in August 2001 when he was working as a doorman at Silks nightclub, Mill Street, Cannock. He was slashed across the neck and needed a transfusion of four pints of blood. His attacker was recently given a life sentence for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He now works as a window cleaner and part time security at ASDA, Cannock.
