Richard Glenn Schmidt is a Florida musician, poet, and founder of Ladies Of Death Row Swimsuit Calendar, The Pride Of Japan Is Tied Up In Giant Robots, The Missiles, and Secret Music.

In early 2002, Schmidt established Leprous Mongoose to distribute CDs by many of the arts he has recorded, mixed, and produced. Some of his artists include Midnight Bowlers League, New Turtle House, and Silence Broken.

Apart from his musical endeavours, he has created and published several volumes of poetry and short stories.
