Richard Garcia (born September 4, 1981 in Perth) is an Spanish-Australian footballer, currently playing for Football League Championship side Colchester United F.C..

Garcia started off his career at Leyton Orient F.C., making twenty-one appearances in the 2000-01 season, scoring four goals. His performances for the club attracted Premiership club West Ham United F.C., who he signed for in 2001. Garcia failed to break into the first team at his new club, although making several appearances in the Premier League, and was signed by Colchester United, initially on loan.

Garcia impressed in his loan season at Colchester in the 2004-05 season and was signed on a permanent basis by the North Essex club at the end of the season. The following season Garcia played an important part in helping the club to success, as Colchester were promoted to the Championship after finishing 2nd in the division. Colchester also made it to the fourth-round of the FA Cup, where they were beaten by Chelsea. Colchester were at one point winning the match, after Garcia's cross was put into his own net by Ricardo Carvalho.

Garcia scored Colchester's first goal of the 2006-07 season in the Championship on the opening game against Birmingham City F.C..
