Richard Frank (actor)

Richard Frank (January 4, 1953 in Boston, Massachusetts – August 27, 1995 in Los Angeles, California) was an American actor.
Perhaps best known as Father Vogler in the 1984 movie Amadeus. Had numerous guest appearances in popular TV shows, with a regular role in the 1989 Jamie Lee Curtis situation comedy Anything But Love. Graduate of Juilliard's acting school. Extensive theater credits, including ""Hang on to me" at the Guthrie, directed by Peter Sellers, many productions in LA, mostly at the Taper. Created the Struggling Actor's Coloring Book. Created dozens of paintings, now in private collections. Noted by colleagues for his intelligence, and endless wit.
Frank died in Los Angeles, California of complications from AIDS.
