Richard Baggallay

The Right Honourable Sir Richard Baggallay (1816–1888) was a British Judge of the supreme Court of Appeal and also a politician. He sat as a Conservative MP for Hereford.
He was knighted on 14 December 1868 after losing his seat, but was re-elected in 1870 as MP for Mid-Surrey.
He was Her Majesty's Solicitor General for England and Wales during 1868, and The Attorney General of the United Kingdom during 1874-1875.
In later years he suffered from poor health and died while convalescing in Hove, Sussex.
