Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies

The Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies, also referred to as the Russell Library, is a part of the University of Georgia Libraries.

The Russell Library was established in 1974 by the Richard B. Russell Foundation, Inc., the Georgia General Assembly, and the University System of Georgia Board of Regents with the intent of collecting and preserving materials that documented all aspects of the life of Richard Russell, Jr.; however, the scope of the library has grown to include becoming a repository of scholarly research in modern political history.
