Rich Roberts (born December 15, 1969) is a former adult video director and actor. He was born in London as Robert Banks, but moved to the United States after his father was dicharged from the Air Force. He is married twice. The first marriage was to Brenda (also known as Sidnee Coxx), whom he met while she was 14. His second and current marriage is to Laura.

Early on in his relationship with Brenda, they pushed the limits of sexual activity. After getting married on June 24, 1989, the couple decided to turn their passion into a profitable business. The couple were active swingers but concerned with sexually transmitted diseases, so pornography seemed to be a perfect fit.

During his time in the pornography business, Rich Roberts developed friendships with many female performers. Later, he ended up managing many girls and directing for Odyssey and Fat Dog Video. His first full-budget film made it to number one on AVN's Top 10 list. Rich Roberts performed in about 100 scenes, many with his spouse. As time wore on, Rich became disturbed with many of the actors and actress's real lives. He started off by helping fellow actress China with her drug habit.

In October 1995, Rich Roberts worked on a film for Greg Dark that would forever change his life. The scene involved a video virgin and six men. After the scene was shot, Roberts headed to the showers, but while returning to the set, he found the young actress crying. He decided then he could no longer be a part of this business. Within twp months he split from his long time love, Sindee Coxx. Strangly, the scene that disturbed Rich ended up winning an AVN Award in 1997 for Best Anal Gangbang.

Rich Roberts moved back to New York in 1996 and had little direction. Due to the skills he learned in the adult film industry, he chose to become a computer engineer. First going into graphic arts working with video editing, he later went on to get his MCSE+I and many other network certifications.

In February, he met his current wife, Laura, who helped him hone his skills with computers. She also taught him how to have sex while not on film or with three women. The couple had been highly successful for many years until Rich broke his neck in 2002. He has not been able to work since, although he has regained most of his mobility. Currently, Rich is living back on the West Coast and is trying to make a better future for him and his wife.

Rich is currently working on starting a non-profit organization to address the needs of the poor, elderly, and disabled who do not know how to use a computer.
