Rich Pagano

Rich Pagano (born August 31, 1962) is an American musician and a lead-singing drummer. He was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island. His father, Vincent, was a pop music fan and audiofile who always played music in their house; Rich dabbled in drumming as a child. He graduated from the prestigious School Of Visual Arts in Manhattan as an Illustration major, yet never stopped performing and recording. After 5 years as a magazine illustrator and painter in New York City, he returned full time to music.
He is kept equally busy writing, performing, and running his production studio, New Calcutta Recordings NYC. As a producer, his work has earned him recognition and honors from publications including Billboard Magazine, The New Yorker and the Village Voice. As a musician, he has also recorded or performed/toured with Rosanne Cash, Patti Smith, John Mellencamp, Robbie Robertson, Freedy Johnston, Willie Nile, Joan Osborne, The Wreckers, Mott the Hoople legend Ian Hunter, Ray Davies, Steven Tyler, Dolly Parton and his Beatles tribute band, The Fab Faux. When not recording or performing, Rich contracts recorded and live music for special events and television specials within his company, Hi-Fidelity Music.
