Rich Girl is a single originally released by Daryl Hall and John Oates in 1977. On March 26th, 1977, it became their first (of 6) number one singles on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The single originally appeared on the 1976 album Bigger Than Both of Us. The song is about a spoiled woman who could rely on her parents' money to do whatever she wanted.
