Ricardo Matias Verón is an Argentine football midfielder. He was born on January 22, 1981, in the city of Santa Fe in the Province of the same name, in Argentina.
Verón is currently owned by Italian Serie A side Reggina. He has been at the club since 2001 but has spent 3 of the last 4 seasons on loan at other clubs.
Verón started his professional career at San Lorenzo in the Primera Division Argentina in 1999. In 2001 he was sold to Reggina. He has spent time on loan at Salernitana in Italy,back at San Lorenzo in Argentina and he is currently on loan at Serie B side F.C. Crotone.
