Rica Erickson

Rica Erickson is an Australian woman who gained fame as a naturalist, botanical artist, historian, and author. She was born August 10, 1908 in Boulder, Western Australia. In 1980 she was awarded an honorary degree of doctor of letters for her research and work in the field of botany. She was involved with the writing and compilation of the Dictionary of West Australians in its many volumes.
