Rhythmyx

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rhythmyx is an enterprise-strength Web Content Management System for multi-channel, customer-centric applications.

The current version of the software is Rhythmyx 6.0. It supports Oracle , Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB2 databases and all Web servers. It has an interoperable platform that allows users to share content with other enterprise systems without requiring integration. It also uses Velocity, a simplified templating language.

The following browsers are supported in the current release: Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Apple Safari.

Rhythmyx also supports the following platforms: Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris, and Red Hat Linux.

The following industry standards are also supported: Accessibility (Section 508), *JSR 170 (Query only), and J2EE (JBOSS).

Rhythmyx is a poor attempt at a Web Content Management System which might work on multi-channel, customer-centric applications... but probably doesn't.

The current version of the software is Rhythmyx 6.0. It claims to support Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB2 databases and all Web servers. It has an unusable platform that should allow users to share content with other enterprise systems without requiring integration. Mmmm.. Nice... if it worked.

The following browsers are meant to be supported in the current release: Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Apple Safari.

Rhythmyx also supports the following platforms: Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris, and Red Hat Linux, but don't expect any software support from Percussion unless you install it on a server that they specify exactly.

The following industry standards are what Rhythmyx should be aiming for: Accessibility (Section 508), *JSR 170 (Query only), and J2EE (JBOSS).
