Rhys Coiro

Rhys Coiro is an American television actor. He is best known for playing Billy Walsh on Entourage and Vincent Bianchi on Ugly Betty. He holds a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University, School of Drama.

The character Billy Walsh is an indie film director whose film Queens Boulevard catapults Entourage's main character to movie star fame. There has been considerable speculation as to the origin of this character with many seeing a caricature of Vincent Gallo. But whatever roman á clef intentions the writers had was quickly superseded by Coiro's uniquely creative characterization. He's so unbelievable he's completely believable: an ego too big for Hollywood, as if such a thing could exist.

Much of the information about Rhys Coiro's autobiography is completely false. He is from Princeton, New Jersey. He went to high school there. He has a made-up biography posted on-line at TV.com. Absolutely none of it is completely accurate, but it is in some ways merely an exaggeration of his life.
