There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every underground article in Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around!

[edit] Dates

I think possibly, when trying to illustrate a historical point. If the day and the month are already there, those two may be linked together but it seems the practices of some bots to delink these. See: WP:DATES. Simply south 18:37, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Forgot to add, if linked to a year, if the same year appears again nearby, I wouldn't link it a second time but maybe with a big gap. Simply south 18:44, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category banners

Hello, I was wondered a similar thing earlier but, looking at the similar BBC ones, it doesn't look like they do. I hope I'm sorting these Channel 4 ones out correctly - it's sometimes difficult to distinguish what is classed as 'comedy' and what is a 'sitcom' - I suppose an on-going story is the main distinction. Bob talk 23:14, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about the type error above by the way - I must have changed my mind on what tense to use half way through the sentence! Bob talk 23:41, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Barnet Spires shopping centre

I have created an article on this although it is very bland. Do you know any information on this, other than it is served by many buses and is located in the centre of town? Simply south 14:34, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You helped choose Islam as this week's WP:AID winner

Thank you for your support of the Article Improvement Drive.
This week Islam was selected to be improved to featured article status.
Hope you can help.

[edit] Dad's Army episodes

Hi, RHB, please consider adding [[Category:Dad's Army episodes|*]] to articles you create about Dad's Army episodes, so they don't get deleted by new page patrollers for lack of context. Cheers V. Joe 19:52, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dad's Army II

Some writings or synopsis about the indidual episodes would also be helpful... but glad to watch out. Also, if you do take my advice, consider writing the name of the article/episode within the brackets so [[Category:Dad's Army episodes|High Finance]], for example. Cheers V. Joe 19:58, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DLR

Sorry for the very late\early reply :). Anyway, not yet as there should perhaps be some reference that are not Transport for London, the BBC or alwaystouch.com. Have a look at the archived peer review. Simply south 00:18, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject England

Seems Jhamez has gone AWOL. Shame really, since I don't have much knowledge when it comes to WikiProjects!(speaking of which, do you?)

ANYWAY if he doesn't respond sometime soon, shall one of us propose it? Or, failing that just say bugger it and make one?

Your thoughts....

[edit] Your revert of vandalism on the diamond article

Hello. Thank you for reverting the vandalism. Unfortunately you also reverted my edit which I did after the vandalism. Please be more careful next time :-) It was also my mistake that I did not check the article thoroughly before editing. --pabouk 14:51, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
