The Raetians or Rhaetians were some of the most powerful and warlike of the Alpine tribes.

  • Their Raetian language was spoken in ancient times by the tribes in the Eastern Alpine areas, in Switzerland, Austria, North-Eastern Italy and Southern Germany).
