Revenge of the Wannabes continues on from the 2nd book Best Friends for Never after Alicia and Olivia a.k.a Fauxlivia, cheated at the OCD uniform compatition. Massie and Claire eventully find out and then seek REVENGE.

As if cheating at the fashion show is NOT enough, Alicia gets fed up for being the second best and throws her own Friday Night sleepover, which used to be a tradition her and Massie shared. Massie finds out from Olivia and is furious!!! Massie and Alicia get into a huge argument, and Alicia is then pronounced as an EW (Eternal Wannabe). It's then official the girls are at war. Alicia and Olivia go to a Brairwood soccer game. Where they talk to the best soccer player at Brairwood Academy Derek Harrington (Derrington), Cam Fisher , and other players. Alicia tries to show off because, Harris, Cam's older brother is there.

Cam and Alicia call each other and then goes off to talk to The Pretty Committee. Alicia keeps her cool and keeps talking to the remaining Brairwood boys and Harris. The conversation preveals to "The Strokes" and their upcoming concert. Alicia offers to give him tickets because of her father's connections. He happily takes her up on her offer and heads to his car. Cam stays behind for a minute. Cam asks Alicia if she could talk to Claire for him. She says she will if Cam tells Harris to take her to "The Strokes" concert. They come to an agreement and Cam leaves. Alicia and Olivia do the same. As they wait for a ride Olivia insist that Harris likes Alicia.
