Revolutionary Communist Group (Lebanon)

The Revolutionary Communist Group (GCR) is the Trotskyist organisation in Lebanon. It is known locally as Tajammu' al-Shuyu'i al-Thawri (Arabic) or le Groupe Communiste Révolutionnaire (French). It is the Lebanese group of the reunified Fourth International.

The GCR was founded in 1970s as a full 'section' of the Fourth International [1]. The 2003 World Congress of the International reorganised it as a sympathising group, reflected a decline in the GCR's membership.

The organisation contributes to International Viewpoint and Inprecor.
