It was recorded live at Harrah's, Lake Tahoe, Nevada by Warner Bros. Records.
In the track "Buck Buck", Cosby first mentions Fat Albert, his childhood friend who was the basis for the hit cartoon series Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids.
