[edit] Thanks
Thanks for all your awesome work (both RL and here) on HPV and friends. :) Just wanted to let you know that I restored the genome image to the HPV taxobox, with hopefully a clearer caption, and added another category heading to the article just to tighten and brighten the layout. Hope you don't mind. jengod 21:55, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warts
Thanks for all of the info you have provided. Retroid, I see that you are a viroligist near DC, perhaps you could help me. I have literally thousands of warts, I was hoping you could e-mail me at jimdecker at optonline.net, and I could explain my situation. Thanks. User:jdecker 14:14, 9 Sept 2006 (EDT)
- I'm hesitant to send email. I'm a lab geek (not a medical doctor) so I'm not qualified to offer anyone any medical advice. Sounds dreadful about the warts. The fact that I occasionally get isolated warts on my hands and feet is one factor in my feeling that medical research should target all HPVs everywhere for eradication as soon as possible. Maybe try contacting one of the HPV research bigwigs in the DC area - Dick Schlegel (Georgetown) and Doug Lowy (National Cancer Institute) spring to mind. I think they're both certified M.D.s, who might at least point you in the right direction for the sort of specialist it sounds like you might need. Retroid 19:34, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
