Retro Junk

Retro Junk is a website focusing around pop-culture nostalgia. It includes information and video files about movies, TV shows, and commercials from the 1970s through the 1990s. Slogans the site uses are "Your memory machine", "Hey, I remember that" and "A nostalgia filled look into our past".
Covering popular culture of the '70s, '80s, and '90s, the site includes forums, openings to television shows, television commercials, and trailers to popular movies from the three decades.
Articles submitted from readers cover everything from music of the times to popular cartoons. Some criticism has emerged from a few members that many of the articles do not measure up in a professional and sometimes even an informed manner.

Retro Junk was created by Vertex in October 31, 2003. He originally wanted it to be a strictly 1980s nostalgia site, but it has expanded to include other decades over time.
Discussion forums were added to the website on April 15, 2004.
