[edit] Re: signatures
To customize your signature, click on the my preferences link at the top of the page (next to my talk) or go to Special:Preferences. Tick the check box labelled Raw signature. Now, whatever wiki code you enter into the Nickname box will be substituted (followed by a timestamp) whenever you sign a page with four tildes: ~~~~.
My own signature is generated from the code
