Restonic Mattress

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Restonic was founded in 1938 as the Triple Cushion Corporation and took the Restonic name in 1946. It advertises its mattresses as featuring the "Marvelous Middle" technology. Spokespersons for the company include Mel Blanc, Steve Allen and Jayne Meadows. Some sources suggest it is the fifth largest brand of mattress in the United States, behind Sealy, Serta, Simmons and the Spring Air Company). Like some other firms in the industry, it uses local licensees to manufacture beds under the Restonic name. Like a cooperative, its licensees own the company.
