Resorts World

Resorts World is the working name for an integrated resort in development stages for the island of Sentosa, off the coast of Singapore. The S$5.2 billion dollar integrated resort is currently being planned by Genting International and Star Cruises, who hold a 60% and 40% stake in the project, respectively. The 49 hectare integrated resort will cost 600 milion singapore dollars solely for land, and S$1.6 billion just on a Universal Studios theme park called Universal Studios Singapore.

The resort was designed primarily by famous American architect, Michael Graves, although portions were developed by firms such as Ralph Applebaum Associates and Forrec Limited.

Resorts World Sentosa will be dirctly connected to public transportation in Singapore through Waterfront Monorail Station on the Sentosa Express, which connects directly to HarbourFront MRT Station and VivoCity
