Reservoir is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Darebin. Reservoir's postcode is 3073.
The suburb of Reservoir was once the extremities of the Melbourne Region, being the furthest habitated northern point from the CBD. It was home to a large proportion of Italian and European Settlers and in the later years, had a major Asian influx. Today Reservoir is an expanding suburb with standard brick homes, and a high number of new developments. The region contains popular recreation areas and facilities, and is home to the Edwardes Street and Broadway shopping strips.
