Wikipedia talk:Requests for comment/Necromancing
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am new to the involved community of Wikipedia, but depend on this site for, however debatable, at least some information on a subject. In this case however all I have found is a debate.
The fact that plenty of google search results occur on both of the aliases for this actress, contradicts the not notable argument.
If a non-copyrighted image can be found then the article should not contain an image. Being new to the communitity I am not sure, but there should be a mechanism in place so that a repeat offender can be prevented from editing this article. Surely an article can exist on this topic without an image.
The use of copyrighted images appears to be the source of this dispute. However the dispute has resulted in the removal of an article. Many articles could be cited that, if one were to bombard them with copyrighted material, would force their removal based on this point. Please set me straight if no mechanism exists to prevent this individual from forcing the removal of this page.
This seems counter to the intent of Wikipedia.
